ABOUT US

My photographic adventure began during my early school years, when I discovered the joy of capturing moments through a lens.

What started as a creative outlet has since developed into a career spanning 18 years as a photojournalist and freelance photographer.

During my time with the newspaper, I won the New Zealand Community Newspaper Association Photographer of the Year award eight times, an achievement I am extremely proud of.

My other achievements include several Kodak Gold Awards, alongside numerous medals at national photographic salons for my wedding photography and creative portraiture projects.

Today, I also work across the commercial and sporting sectors, taking me throughout Australasia to cover events ranging from the Sydney Marathon to the Albatross Great Wall Marathon in China.

As a way of giving back to a craft that has given me so much, I volunteer my time as a qualified photographic judge for the Photographic Society of New Zealand helping camera clubs across the country develop and grow.

My commercial portfolio continues to evolve and grow, with past clients including Listener magazine, De-Bretts Taupō, White Island Tours, Rotorua's Buried Village, Nova Energy and NZ Post, Energy Commission NZ to name just a few.

I have also enjoyed exhibiting my work in galleries throughout the North Island and sharing my knowledge and experience with others interested in developing their own photographic journey.
