ABOUT US

  I have always been rather creative and photography gave me a way to express that through experimentation and my employment as a photojournalist for the past fifteen years.

My time with the paper resulted in me winning NZ Community Newspaper Association Photographer of the Year seven times, an achievement I am extremely proud of. 

​​

 Past achievements also include several Kodak Gold awards alongside many national awards from wedding and creative personal projects. 

​​

  These days I also work in the commercial and sporting sector which takes me all over Australasia, enjoying the very best we have to offer.

With past clients such as Listener Magazine, De Bretts Taupo, White Island Tours, Rotorua's Buried Village, Nova Energy, NZ Post, (just to name a few) my commercial portfolio continues to grow.

  I have made a point of sharing my work in the past with an exhibition of personal work in galleries throughout the North Island and have also featured in, many publications including at least12 issues of PSNZs annual photographic books.

​

 Winning awards for wedding photography involves a dedicated team and so I am always assisted by my wife, Mandy Hague. Mandy is an artist who has not only won awards for her art but for her photography as well
